This is my second time I've used this facility. The first time was 11 years ago for a right knee implant. The program that was provided to me was excellent - you had to go the work for sure. I did and can say that my leg is as good as ever. My second time is now. I'm currently doing therapy on my right index finger that I smashed while working on my son's ranch in Belgrade, Montana. Fortunately, the finger was not broken nor tendons torn . The skin split in three places and required a total of 11 stitches. got lucky for sure! I'm currently doing therapy on the finger and right hand. Things are progressing very well. The program is not as intense as it was for my right knee implant but you still have to do the work. I'm progressing well and should have a full recovery once I'm done with the therapy. Again, Brain and his staff "know-their-stuff". I can’t say enough great things about Christy. I came to her with a sports injury, and from the very beginning she was absolutely incredible. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and skilled as a physical therapist, but her bedside manner is second to none.

Christy takes the time to listen, explain what she is doing, and make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire recovery process. What impressed me most was how clear it is that she truly cares about her patients. You never feel like just another appointment on her schedule. She is encouraging, compassionate, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you get better.

Recovering from an injury can be frustrating, but Christy made the entire experience so much more positive. Her combination of expertise, kindness, and genuine concern for her patients is something you don’t always find in healthcare. I have been going to excel off and on over the years for various things and I have always been treated very well. I see Jennifer and she is great. Any questions I have she is more than happy to answer and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will look into it and get back to me. She is patient and doesn’t really rush any process and if I need to take a minute, she is more than happy to take a break as long as I need. I had a great experience working with Sam! He helped me improve my strength and flexibility while always being mindful of my limits. He was friendly, accommodating, and knew just how much to push me without overdoing it. I also worked with Madison briefly, and she was equally friendly and knowledgeable. I love the ladies at Excel PT. Christy, Shannon, and Alma are all just a hoot and make a great team. I have had to have physical therapy several times for various reasons and I won't go anywhere else. I actually look forward to my PT sessions and they are very good at making sure that I'm getting all the benefits out of each exercise. And we have a lot of fun doing them as well. I have benefitted from Excel in Ellisville twice in 18 months - shoulder and knee PT, and my wife once, for her knee.  In all three “rehabs,” the therapists helped with the physical side and Dani made all of the admin effortless - insurance, scheduling, and making sure the office/facility was ready for our visits.

On top of that, Dani is a wonderful person who makes it fun to be there.

Paul and Stacey are amazing!

In early 2025 I slept wrong, apparently several nights, and my shoulder had limited mobility.  Paul helped quickly assess what was going on and how to help; he shared the overall approach to increase mobility and then to strengthen my arm.  I needed to dedicate time at home to it, and the exercises worked!

Then in early 2026, I hyperextended my knee playing soccer; I walked off the field and to the car... slowly, but I got my self there.  And I went to be comforted by the plan to visit Paul the next morning for an assessment.  

We quickly, and correctly, confirmed nothing was torn, and that after reducing the swelling in the upcoming couple weeks, we could start therapy.  Paul helped me plans and perform a similar approach of loosening, stretching and then strengthening.  And I'm now back playing.

Paul is very capable and competent, and an all-around awesome guy.  The same is true for Stacey and others at Excel.

I suffered an ACL and meniscus tear in July and had surgery in August. From that point forward I've been going to excel three days a week. Being extremely nervous about my injury, Alena has been beyond helpful through the entire process. She has pushed me further than I thought I could possibly imagine days after surgery and even to today. She has made sure I've met each and every goal set. She truly cares about her patients and it is very obvious.  Liz is another person that has pushed me to new limits (she makes me plank, and I hate planking).  But, it's all for a reason and you have to trust the process.  They both go above and beyond, and it's truly amazing. We recently got hit with a major snow storm and they spent the two days before trying to figure out how to see everyone and keep them on schedule before the storm hit. Between patients, they were making phone calls and getting appointments moved around with their patients safety in mind. I especially appreciated this because the last thing I wanted to do was go out in inclement weather and possibly re-injure myself just to go to therapy. I couldn't ask for a better group of people!  Another person I have to mention is Nancy!  She is the first person I see when I walk in the door and always has a smile!  She is always busy, but always says good morning and goodbye. The little things are very noticeable by all who come in for treatment. Between Liz and Alena you will reach your goals if you put the effort in. The staff was professional, caring and exceptional from the first phone call to the final appointment. Mark was my Therapist and I cannot stress enough how great he was. 15 straight days was requested by the doc for me. Not the norm, but it was the right call. Mark pushed me, but also understood my limitations. I followed his recommendations to the letter and the recovery was nothing short of a miracle.
 I will insist everyone I know use this location for any PT needs. Steve and Cindy are as awesome as Mark. Great people with a passion for what they do. Cannot say enough great things about them.

I have been told by doctor after doctor for over a decade that I need to be in PT. I have never done it because of how uncomfortable it has always been. Aqua therapy at Excel has completely changed my view of PT. I actually look forward to the days I get to go. My PT Jennifer is awesome. She always tries to make you feel better then you came in. She is meticulous, yet fast. Her notes rival my Orthopedic surgeons. You can tell she's a professional.
