I have been going to excel off and on over the years for various things and I have always been treated very well. I see Jennifer and she is great. Any questions I have she is more than happy to answer and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will look into it and get back to me. She is patient and doesn’t really rush any process and if I need to take a minute, she is more than happy to take a break as long as I need. I had a great experience working with Sam! He helped me improve my strength and flexibility while always being mindful of my limits. He was friendly, accommodating, and knew just how much to push me without overdoing it. I also worked with Madison briefly, and she was equally friendly and knowledgeable. I love the ladies at Excel PT. Christy, Shannon, and Alma are all just a hoot and make a great team. I have had to have physical therapy several times for various reasons and I won't go anywhere else. I actually look forward to my PT sessions and they are very good at making sure that I'm getting all the benefits out of each exercise. And we have a lot of fun doing them as well. I have benefitted from Excel in Ellisville twice in 18 months - shoulder and knee PT, and my wife once, for her knee.  In all three “rehabs,” the therapists helped with the physical side and Dani made all of the admin effortless - insurance, scheduling, and making sure the office/facility was ready for our visits.

On top of that, Dani is a wonderful person who makes it fun to be there.

I have been going to Excel for over 2 years. The therapists there are great and work together helping each other out when needed. I can't say enough great things about them. I have done PT at this location 3 times now and would not change a thing! Mackenzie, Mark, Sam, and Madison are the best! They are knowledgeable and have helped my knee feel so much better, but also so fun to talk with during sessions. The atmosphere is community-like and engaging! Best people around. Therapists Alena, Elizabeth, Stacey, and Samantha show extreme compassion and ensure you are rehabilitated to get back to your normal self. Of course all this couldn’t be done without the help of their front desk gal, Nancy. She’s on top of things.

Christy is honestly the best shoulder physical therapist I have ever had!  I was injured in a car accident some time ago and was in constant pain.  She is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and attentive.  She took the time to really listen to my concerns, explain what was going on, and develop a comprehensive treatment plan that made me feel confident in my recovery.  To be honest, before coming to Christy - I was not sure that was going to happen.  Her expertise and genuine compassion made such a difference in my experience...and recovery.  I would (and have) highly recommend Christy to anyone looking for an excellent PT, especially for a shoulder/arm injury.  She truly goes above and beyond for her patients! I did PT with Paul on my hand after surgery. He was excellent, knowledgeable, experienced and everything. He knew exactly what to do and helped me with the mindset challenges of continuous therapy as well. I cannot recommend him enough.

Paul and Stacey are amazing!

In early 2025 I slept wrong, apparently several nights, and my shoulder had limited mobility.  Paul helped quickly assess what was going on and how to help; he shared the overall approach to increase mobility and then to strengthen my arm.  I needed to dedicate time at home to it, and the exercises worked!

Then in early 2026, I hyperextended my knee playing soccer; I walked off the field and to the car... slowly, but I got my self there.  And I went to be comforted by the plan to visit Paul the next morning for an assessment.  

We quickly, and correctly, confirmed nothing was torn, and that after reducing the swelling in the upcoming couple weeks, we could start therapy.  Paul helped me plans and perform a similar approach of loosening, stretching and then strengthening.  And I'm now back playing.

Paul is very capable and competent, and an all-around awesome guy.  The same is true for Stacey and others at Excel.

I suffered an ACL and meniscus tear in July and had surgery in August. From that point forward I've been going to excel three days a week. Being extremely nervous about my injury, Alena has been beyond helpful through the entire process. She has pushed me further than I thought I could possibly imagine days after surgery and even to today. She has made sure I've met each and every goal set. She truly cares about her patients and it is very obvious.  Liz is another person that has pushed me to new limits (she makes me plank, and I hate planking).  But, it's all for a reason and you have to trust the process.  They both go above and beyond, and it's truly amazing. We recently got hit with a major snow storm and they spent the two days before trying to figure out how to see everyone and keep them on schedule before the storm hit. Between patients, they were making phone calls and getting appointments moved around with their patients safety in mind. I especially appreciated this because the last thing I wanted to do was go out in inclement weather and possibly re-injure myself just to go to therapy. I couldn't ask for a better group of people!  Another person I have to mention is Nancy!  She is the first person I see when I walk in the door and always has a smile!  She is always busy, but always says good morning and goodbye. The little things are very noticeable by all who come in for treatment. Between Liz and Alena you will reach your goals if you put the effort in. The staff was professional, caring and exceptional from the first phone call to the final appointment. Mark was my Therapist and I cannot stress enough how great he was. 15 straight days was requested by the doc for me. Not the norm, but it was the right call. Mark pushed me, but also understood my limitations. I followed his recommendations to the letter and the recovery was nothing short of a miracle.
 I will insist everyone I know use this location for any PT needs. Steve and Cindy are as awesome as Mark. Great people with a passion for what they do. Cannot say enough great things about them.

I have been told by doctor after doctor for over a decade that I need to be in PT. I have never done it because of how uncomfortable it has always been. Aqua therapy at Excel has completely changed my view of PT. I actually look forward to the days I get to go. My PT Jennifer is awesome. She always tries to make you feel better then you came in. She is meticulous, yet fast. Her notes rival my Orthopedic surgeons. You can tell she's a professional.
