Amanda Nuyt, MPT

Amanda attended Maryville University and received her Bachelors in Health Science and her Masters of Physical Therapy. She joined the Excel Sports and Physical Therapy team having previously worked at the St. Peters and O’Fallon clinics, but now works out of our Wentzville location. She has eleven solid years of clinical experience with the general orthopedic patients from the young pediatric patients to the growing frail elderly population. Amanda is personable and hands-on with all her patients and takes a unique approach to look at the body as a whole. Her interests include pediatrics, sports-related injuries, core strengthening, shoulder, knee and ankle injuries, aquatic-based programs, joint replacements and rehabilitation including prosthetics for gait training and conditioning.

She is a previous two sport collegiate athlete as she continues to play softball and soccer in her spare time, as well as volunteering her time to coach the youth and give goalie lessons. Outside of work you may find her enjoying the outdoors, riding her motorcycle, attending sporting events including the St. Louis Cardinals, and spending time with her dog, Snickers.
