I absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk in, Alma greets you with a smile and makes you feel so welcome. Christy and Shannon are truly the best! They are not only amazing at what they do, but they genuinely care about you as a person. They make you feel comfortable, encourage you every step of the way, and somehow manage to make physical therapy something you actually look forward to! It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel more like family than just another patient. I’m so grateful for all three of these wonderful ladies. I can’t say enough good things about Excel Sports & Physical Therapy in St. Charles. After my cervical fusion, I knew recovery was going to take time and hard work, but having Christy and Shannon helping me through the process has made such a difference.

They have both been incredibly patient, caring, and encouraging throughout my therapy. They take the time to listen, explain what we’re doing and why, and make sure I’m comfortable while still pushing me to improve. I’ve never felt like just another patient.

The entire staff has been friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned about my recovery. I’m very thankful for the care and support I’ve received at Excel. I cannot recommend Christy Lucke at Excel Physical Therapy and the entire team at the St. Charles location enough!
From the moment you walk through the door, the office environment is welcoming, clean, and genuinely encouraging. Alma knows each and every one of the patients and is always so kind and efficient at keeping scheduling smooth and stress-free.
When I first started coming here, I was dealing with Achilles Tendinopathy, and I was feeling pretty discouraged.Christy and Shannon completely changed that. They took the time to listen, thoroughly evaluated what was going on, and built a custom recovery plan that actually made sense for my lifestyle.
What sets Christy and Shannon apart is their incredible expertise, patience, and genuine care. They don’t just treat your symptoms—they empower you with the tools, education, and exercises you need to heal properly and prevent future issues. Every session is structured, encouraging, and tailored to how your body is feeling that day.

Superior care and very positive vibes and atmosphere offered by PTs Christy Lucke and Shannon Steinbeck. Office manager Alma keeps the operation running smoothly. I have more mobility in my leg/knee since having therapy at Excel in St Charles.  The staff are friendly and professional.  They take their time and work with you at each level you are able to attempt.  Their directions are thorough and they ensure that you fully understand them.
